Graham Hyman

Graham Hyman, author.

Author Bio

Born in Stanwell in 1958, the youngest of nine children, Graham Hyman later spent a short but enjoyable time in Milton Keynes before settling in Bracknell in 1984. His love of storytelling began many years ago, writing stories primarily for his children and grandchildren. Following significant changes in his life, Graham felt called to share his stories with a wider audience, hoping that his characters might bring peace, love, understanding, and happiness to those who read or listen to them.

Spotlight Story

Emerald Library™ is grateful to recognize Graham Hyman, a thoughtful storyteller whose generosity has helped enrich our shelves and our reading community.

Born in Stanwell in 1958 and the youngest of nine children, Graham’s love of stories has always been rooted in family. For many years, he wrote primarily for his own children and grandchildren, creating characters and tales meant to be shared aloud, enjoyed together, and remembered.

After significant changes in his life, Graham chose to open his stories to a wider audience. His hope in doing so is simple and deeply meaningful: that his characters might bring peace, love, understanding, and happiness to those who read or listen to them.

I hope my stories bring peace, love, understanding, and happiness to those who read or listen to them.

Through the donation of his books to Emerald Library, Graham has extended that intention to families and young readers here in Spain and beyond. We are honored to include his work in our collection and thankful for authors who believe, as we do, in the power of stories to connect, comfort, and inspire.
